Some wedding days just have that energy—the kind where from the moment you arrive, you know it’s going to be special. Filming Nadia and Josh’s Jewish wedding at the iconic Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool was exactly that.

The Adelphi is one of those venues that wears its history proudly. Grand interiors, sweeping staircases, and that old-school glamour that somehow feels perfect for a wedding full of tradition, joy, and a whole lot of dancing. As a filmmaker, it’s a dream backdrop—and Nadia and Josh filled it with warmth from start to finish.

The morning buzz was amazing. Family and friends coming and going, final touches being added, and that unmistakable mix of excitement and nerves in the air. Jewish weddings have such a strong sense of togetherness, and it really shone through from the very beginning. Everyone felt involved, connected, and genuinely happy to be there.

The ceremony itself was beautiful. From the chuppah to the meaningful rituals, every moment felt intentional and full of heart. And then came the celebrations… wow. If you’ve ever been to a Jewish wedding, you’ll know that the party is on another level—and this one absolutely delivered. The hora had the room erupting with energy, guests on their feet, chairs in the air, and huge smiles all around.
