Rachel & Philip + Alyssa & Marley
Filming one wedding at The Castlefield Rooms is always a treat — but capturing two incredible celebrations there, back to back, was something truly special. Set in the heart of Manchester, this iconic venue combines modern city charm with rustic-industrial character, making it the perfect backdrop for cinematic storytelling.
Both weddings — Rachel & Philip’s and Alyssa & Marley’s — were full of emotion, laughter, and unforgettable moments, each with their own unique energy. And through a blend of slow-motion storytelling, sweeping drone footage, and cinematic colour grading, I was able to capture every detail in a way that truly felt like a movie.

Rachel and Philip’s day began with that classic Manchester buzz — the city waking up as the excitement built. From the morning prep through to the final dance, their wedding was a seamless mix of elegance and energy.
Filming in a cinematic slow-motion style allowed me to focus on those tiny, powerful moments — Rachel’s veil catching the breeze, Philip’s smile as he saw her walking down the aisle, the confetti drifting through the air.
Their ceremony took place in the bright, airy event space overlooking the canal, with the iconic Castlefield bridges and brick architecture creating a timeless urban backdrop.
As the sun dipped behind the city, the party came alive — full of laughter, dancing, and emotion. Drone shots captured the city lights reflecting on the water, giving their film that epic, movie-like ending that Manchester does so well.

Alyssa and Marley’s wedding had a completely different feel — bold, emotional, and full of personality. From the very start, there was this incredible atmosphere — laughter, movement, and so much love in the room.
The drone footage from above Castlefield’s cobbled streets was breathtaking — showcasing the industrial beauty of Manchester and the romance of their celebration nestled right in its heart.
As the night went on, the dance floor filled, the lights dimmed, and the music took over. Every spin, every laugh, every cheer — filmed in stunning detail — became part of their visual story.

Both weddings reminded me why The Castlefield Rooms is one of Manchester’s most inspiring venues to film at. The blend of cityscape, canals, and warm interior spaces offers endless opportunities to create something cinematic yet deeply personal.
By combining drone perspectives with slow-motion storytelling, I aim to craft wedding films that feel timeless — where every frame carries emotion, atmosphere, and meaning.

Rachel & Philip and Alyssa & Marley each had their own unique style and story, but both shared the same heart: two people celebrating love in one of Manchester’s most beautiful locations.
It was an absolute privilege to capture their days — from morning light to midnight laughter — and turn their memories into cinematic keepsakes they can relive forever.
